Celebrating Our Different Journeys

In preparation for the 1999 General Assembly, the National Benevolent Association began a two-year process of gathering information and photographs celebrating the diversity of the denomination, working with National Convocation, the Central Pastoral Office of Hispanic Ministries, and the North American/Pacific Asian Disciples ministries. The collection was displayed at the General Assembly and also packaged on CDs with accompanying descriptions and chronologies, attached here. These histories are now kept and housed with the three ministries. While the collection is by no means exhaustive, it does offer valuable information in celebration of our different journeys.
