Miracle Day Beatitudes

From Rev. Dr. Ben Bohren, former NBA Director of Church Relations, current NBA XPLOR Mission Specialist, who launched Miracle Days: “In general, the preparation for a successful Miracle Day was a minimum of nine months, using the 108-page Miracle Day Procedural Manual–whew! Even as Jesus focused his glorious teachings in the scriptural “Beatitudes,” the “Miracle Day Beatitudes” helped focus the work and blessings of this experience of miracles for the Miracle Day Host Committee.”

1. Blessed are those who read/use/follow the Miracle Day Manual.
2. Blessed are those committee chairs who read their job descriptions thoroughly…over and over again!
3. Blessed are those who faithfully recruit local Miracle Day coordinators in every church possible…be persistent.
4. Blessed are those who do a thorough walk-through assessment of work projects and detail the plans including work areas, costs, equipment needed, skilled workers that may be needed, etc.
5. Blessed are those work project coordinators who recruit and train work area supervisors for every work area.
6. Blessed are those who know the fundraising chair is the chair, but know that all committee members are fundraisers.
7. Blessed are those worship chairs who carefully plan the opening and closing worship with spirited music and appropriate length.
8. Blessed are those who know that registration which is fully prepared gets far more work done with far less stress.
9. Blessed are those who plan pre-Miracle Day and post-Miracle Day work times.
10. Blessed are those who believe that anyone can be part of God’s miracles.
11. Blessed are those who provide abundant water, great food for the body, and chocolate chip cookies for the soul.
12. Blessed are those who look for miracles, for they shall be seen!
