NBA’s service with older adults dates back to the earliest beginnings of NBA’s ministry, primarily through community homes and affordable housing. During this era, NBA expanded to offer multi-tiered services, including home healthcare and independent living. These offerings enabled seniors to age in place and broadened the ministry to those who could afford to invest in fee-based retirement communities, such as NBA’s two largest communities, Cypress Village in Jacksonville, FL, and Village at Skyline in Colorado Springs, CO.
